Itinerary Description
The day begins with a stop at the Kourtaliotiko Gorge, one of Crete’s most breathtaking natural formations. Towering cliffs, dramatic rock walls, and flowing winds create a truly unique landscape.
Next, visit the peaceful Preveli Monastery, a historic Orthodox site with panoramic views over the Libyan Sea – a place of spiritual and cultural significance.
Continue to the seaside village of Plakias, where you’ll have time to relax on the beach, enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear waters, or have a delicious meal at a local taverna.
As we head back north, we’ll visit the Argiroupoli Waterfalls, a lush oasis with freshwater springs, waterfalls, and cozy cafés under the shade of plane trees.
