Itinerary Description
Our first stop is the historical Monastery of Kera Kardiotissa, run by nuns and known locally as "Little Lourdes." A spiritual site dedicated to the Virgin Mary, it attracts pilgrims from across the island.
We then drive through scenic landscapes towards the Lassithi Plateau, believed by some to be the site of an ancient volcano. It’s a fertile area dotted with nearly 10,000 traditional windmills and charming mountain villages where Cretan hospitality shines.
Next, we visit the interactive Greek Mythology Park, where you’ll explore lifelike installations of gods, legends, and epic myths of ancient Greece.
As we cross the villages of the plateau, we stop at a traditional pottery workshop, witnessing a craft that dates back over 8,000 years – one of the oldest living traditions in Crete.
Finally, we reach the iconic Palace of Knossos, the legendary center of the Minoan Civilization and the oldest palace in Europe. Join your expert guide through the 22,000 m² archaeological site and dive into stories of King Minos, the Labyrinth, and the Minotaur.
