Amidst golden-red leaves and the scent of fir trees, the route around Lake Doxa is a hike that reveals all the magic of Mountainous Corinthia. A circular trail that combines mountains, forests, history, and endless views.
Starting from the shores of the lake, the trail disappears into a quiet fir forest—where the only sound is the rustling of leaves.
As we climb, the landscape opens up and the view of the peaks of Dourdouvana, Triantafyllia, and Chelmos is breathtaking. A natural panoramic scene that changes with every step.
The route continues along a forest road, offering constant changes and glimpses of the lake glistening in the distance. The return through the oak forest is simply magical — the light filters through the branches, creating an atmosphere of serenity that makes you forget time.
Shortly before the end, we stop at the Monastery of Agios Georgios Feneos, a place of spiritual calm that perfectly complements the natural harmony of the route.
And as we return, Lake Doxa bids us farewell with autumn colors reflected in its waters — an image that stays with you long after the hike is over.
